Student of the Month

Colin was chosen for student of the month in his school. I'm surprised & proud. I wonder if he would ever be chosen because he is not your typical student. He his one of a kind. I think having a male teacher has been good for him this year. He thinks he teacher knows everything. :)
We made a poster last night to hang on the bulletin board. Of course I didn't get a photo. :(

March Mad Snow

Colin spent Sunday building a snowman. The snowman didn't turn out so well so he built 2 snow towers. It snowed most of the day Saturday. We had approx. 8" of snow. He wanted to build one Saturday but it was too cold. I let him play in the snow Sunday afternoon. It was melting as fast. Thank goodness it all melted by Sunday night.

Spring Break

I took the week off vacation. Colin is on Spring Break. I've done a little cleaning
this week. I wanted to do major spring cleaning. I found myself getting a little
resentful since hubby is still home daily recuperating. I hate spending my
vacation cleaning. Why is it OK for women to spend her day off cleaning?
I don't know one man that takes the day off to do yard work or any other
household chores.
We head out of town tomorrow for a little family getaway. Colin has been
very excited all week. He's had his suitcase packed since this morning.

Mommy I need to protect you. Daddy can protect me. No he can't because of his hands. He's sick. He don't have a sword. He can use your sword. He can't hold a sword long because his hands hurt.

sick

Our entire household has been sick for a week. I'm really tired of being sick. Today I feel better.
I'm on the road to recovery. Colin is much better. G is still a little under the weather.
I hope I have a little energy this weekend. It doesn't take much to get too far behind schedule.
I really want to work on my craftroom. I started out with a bang & fizzled out quick.

Tuesday

Tuesday is turning into a full evening for us. I have my dance class at 5:30. Colin has hip hop class at 6:30 & breakdance at 7:30. It was easier for me when his breakdance class was at 5:30.
I'm thinking of joining the hip hop class for exercise. I was so tired & sore after my dance class.
I don't know if it's wise to do 2 dance classes back to back if you are over the age of 25. :)
G's new medicine seems to be doing a little better. He's not as cranky. He said he feet are better. My co worker that is having chemo for colon cancer was not able to take her last 2 chemos. Her white blood count is too low. It's tough to sit close to her as she goes through this because I know how tough it is on her. She's a little bummed because she wants the process to keep going so she can finish the chemo.
My sister Karen had outpatient surgery on her neck. She seems to be recovering fine.

new medicine

Hubby was sent to another Dr he changed one of his medicines. The new medicine is not working out well. I won't go into detail but it's not been fun.
I've had some migraine & allergy issues. Our Colin seems to be healthy so yeah. Someone in our home is in good health.
I haven't done much in my craftroom lately. I hope I do something this weekend. I got some
new fabulous sb paper.
