It's too hot for June

It poured down raining unexpectedly yesterday. Because it was already almost 100 degrees; it seemed like I was in a steam shower outside.

My step-daughter got her Masters Saturday. G was there to cheer her on. He's flying home today. Colin & I missed him.

Another Fabulous Year

Hubby changed the plans on me & we are having dinner w/ the family.
I wanted just us 2 to have lunch together. Don't get me wrong. Dinner w/ the family is fabulous, I was just looking forward to lunch w/ G only.
I'm going along w/ the program but told him next time he changes my birthday plans let me know sooner. Especially since I didn't have a real
breakfast & it's lunch time. I'm a planner & hubby is a spin on the dimer. My birthday is the one day in my mind that it's all about me. Now I'm hungry & cranky so I'm going to find some food.
I'm another year older & I think better. I'm finally getting a handle on
one of my issues, too much eating & too little exercise. All of my food allergies has helped. It's so much I shouldn't & can't eat. I've lost a few
more pounds. I'm 3 lbs away from my 2009 goal weight! Woo hoo!
I'll set a new goal as soon as I reach it. Maybe 5 or 10 more lbs. I don't want to go too fast because I want this excess weight to NEVER return.
I need to think of a really cool prize for myself for reaching the goal early.
The spa it is, especially since I was supposed to go to the spa as a celebration of my birthday.

Home Alone

I'm home alone & happy to have a minute to myself. I was to crop tonight but my allergies are bother me. It's good I stayed home because lightening struck the LSS & they cancelled tonight's crop. The store is not close to me so I wouldn't have been happy to drive far & not able to crop.

The guys went to my uncle's birthday party at Red Lobster. My severe seafood allergy doesn't allow me to go into Red Lobster. It takes about
5 min in a place like that & my chest starts to tighten & I have trouble
breathing.

Summer school camp

Colin started summer school camp Jun 8. He didn't want to go. I think he'd rather stay home w/ dad; eating sugar, watching TV or playing on the computer all day. His daddy would let him play in his pj's most of the day.
He told me Monday & Tuesday that he had fun. They went outside twice, he did puzzles & Lego's. I know they will incorporate teaching too this summer. I'm glad it's hosted by his school it. The last time they hosted, Colin learned all about the rain forest.

G has a Dr appt today. The one yesterday went fine. The appt today is with his oncologist.

Disney

We had so much fun. We were so exhausted. The last 2 hours were spent trying to find & get autographs from Donald & Goofy. We found Donald after 3 tries. We never did find goofy. He & Donald move locations so they don't stay in one place for long. I think the next visit we will have a meal with the characters & be done with it. Here's a few photos. Orlando

We are having a great time. Colin tells me everyday this is the best vacation ever. He's such a grateful child. We are headed out to the pool. He loves the water.
Tonight we are going to Planet Hollywood for dinner.
